The Company of International Artists empowers children to interpret art and to create themselves.
We are currently working with designer Bronia Housman to create a pop-up Company of International Artists HQ. This set is suitable for outdoor and indoor use, and is a chance for the Agents to visit events live once this is permitted. It hits the road for the first time in June 2021.
The Company of International Artists also exists as a through-the-post subscription service and online.
It was initially developed in 2020 as a lockdown create-at-home project for Hartcliffe & Withywood families, supported by Quartet Community Foundation.
The Company of International Artists HQ will be full of inspirational creative activities based on works of art.
It will also be the set for short playable theatre shows. Families will use their best creative secret agent skills to try to solve a series of bloodless art heists, with the help of Agents Dali and Kahlo.
These playable theatre shows will first tour in August 2021 to Elderflower Fields.
