in person at Bishopsworth Library and simultaneously available via zoom
supported by Bristol Libraries Innovation Fund
starts 11th October 2021
The group is for people who live in BS13 who are aged 18+. It happens on a Monday evening from 7pm-8.30pm both in person at Bishopsworth Library or you can join the group remotely via zoom link.
This group provides exciting opportunities to work with published authors, to develop your creative writing skills in a relaxed, supportive environment, and to have your writing published online here and in a printed anthology at Bishopsworth Library.
Sessions are FREE to attend but you must book a space in advance.
Absolute beginners to more experienced writers are equally welcome. Regular attendance is not vital but is encouraged as much as possible.
Each month we explore a different style of creative writing including: writing for children and young adults, poetry, writing for spoken word performance, scriptwriting, novels in various genres including historical fiction and thrillers, journalism, sketch writing, song lyrics and biography.
If you have any questions, email hello@bravebolddrama.co.uk or call us on 079866 654968.
If you are a south-west based author and would like to join the group either in person or online to talk about your work and lead some simple writing exercises, please email hello@bravebolddrama.co.uk
Author visits are scheduled monthly, ideally on either the first or second Monday of the month.
We have a fee of £50 to offer authors for an hour of their time. We are particularly keen to work with Bristol-based authors as we can only cover in-person travel expenses for Bristol-based authors.
